This incident adds to the ongoing tension between Ugandan authorities and opposition figures, with Bobi Wine
The Ugandan Police Force (UPF) has denied allegations that an officer shot and injured opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine. According to the UPF, the incident occurred when Bobi Wine was getting into his car, during which he stumbled and sustained an injury. However, Bobi Wine’s team claims that the injury was caused by a gunshot.
This incident adds to the ongoing tension between Ugandan authorities and opposition figures, with Bobi Wine, a prominent critic of President Yoweri Museveni, often finding himself at odds with the police during his political activities.
