Mumias East MP Recalls Narrow Escape from Fatal Accident

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has shared a harrowing experience on his Facebook page, recounting a near-fatal accident he survived two years ago during his election campaign. According to Salasya, the incident occurred at around 3 a.m., just two months before the 2022 general elections, near Mwanza Forest.

Salasya described how the car he was traveling in lost control and was on the verge of a catastrophic crash. In a moment of desperation, he called upon the “blood of Jesus” for protection. His prayer was seemingly answered when the vehicle, despite hitting a large tree, did not result in a fatal outcome.
