Speaking to a gathering of over 1,500 farmers from 86 organized groups, at Kaiyaba grounds in Mathira constituency, Ndagita acknowledged the struggles farmers face in purchasing quality seeds. He highlighted concerns about unscrupulous traders exploiting the situation, which has led to a decline in seed quality available in the market.
To combat these challenges, Ndagita distributed quality maize seeds aimed at ensuring a successful planting season. He urged farmers to unite and collaborate with the Nyeri County Government to foster food security not only for the present but also for future generations.
