The Stella Maris Othaya Girls High School community is in mourning following the untimely passing of Teacher Ann, a cherished member of the faculty. Teacher Ann passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2025, at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) in Othaya, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and passion for education.
Family, friends, and colleagues have come together daily to honor her memory and make funeral arrangements. Gatherings are held at the school’s premises each evening at 5:00 PM, where prayers are offered in remembrance of her impactful life.
A Requiem Service is scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM, to be held in the school grounds. This service will provide an opportunity for the community to come together in solidarity, sharing memories and celebrating the remarkable contributions Teacher Ann made during her time at the school.
Following the Requiem Service, Teacher Ann will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her home in Gatumbiro/Kindara.
