Nyeri Senator Wahome Wamatinga, alongside Principal Secretary Ephantus Kimotho and MPs Duncan Maina (Nyeri Town) and Njoroge Wainaina Chieni (Kieni), today addressed critical water access issues affecting over 5,000 residents in Kirichu, Nyeri Town constituency.
The initiative aims to provide direct water supply to the Kiganjo-Kanuna-Gachika-Gichagi-Ndathi Ndurutu areas and surrounding institutions. This project is set to enhance local infrastructure, ensuring better access to clean water for the residents.
Wamatinga emphasized his commitment to serving the people of Nyeri County.
“This project reflects my ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for Nyeri residents. Access to reliable water will not only meet immediate needs but also stimulate local economic growth, particularly in agriculture and businesses,” he stated.
