Eyewitnesses stated that the firewood-laden lorry had a tire blowout, causing the driver to lose control. The out-of-control vehicle then collided with the cereal lorry, which resulted in a head-on collision with a bus traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the lorry transporting cereal was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the firewood lorry sustained injuries and has been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the driver and passengers on the bus escaped unhurt.
