Kieni MP Njoroge Wainaina Chieni, has officially launched the Chieni Affordable Education Feeding Program today at Narumoru Stadium. The initiative aims to make education more accessible for students in Day Secondary Schools throughout the Kieni Constituency.
Under this program, each student will contribute Ksh. 1,500 per term, ensuring that they receive nutritious meals during school hours. The meal plan includes Githeri served three days a week, Rice three days a week, and Uji every day at 10 a.m.
Chieni announced that food supplies for all participating schools were delivered today, covering a total of 13 weeks for the first term.
The program is expected to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by families while enhancing the overall educational experience for students in the Kieni area.
