The impeachment trial of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has reached its final day in the Senate.
Gachagua arrived at Parliament on Thursday, October 17, alongside his robust team of lawyers as they prepare to wrap up his defense against the allegations.
Leading the defense is Senior Counsel Paul Muite, supported by prominent lawyers including Elisha Ongoya, Tom Macharia, Swanya Victor Ogeto, Ndegwa Njiru, and John Njomo.
The legal team also includes Faith Waigwa, Amos Kisilu, George Wandati, George Sakimpa, Andrew Muge, Eric Naibei, Juliah Omwamba, and Willis Echesa, all collaborating to address the charges against the Deputy President.
