Jack Kaguu Githae, a prominent practitioner of African indigenous knowledge and traditional medicine, has announced the launch of a new and ambitious campaign: the World Natural Health and Wellness Association. This initiative calls on humanity to rethink modern living, focusing on the interconnectedness of diet, lifestyle, and environmental health.

Githae emphasizes that modern agricultural practices, particularly chemical food production, have contributed significantly to the rise of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and various cancers. He argues that these chemicals disrupt our metabolism and impair the functioning of vital organs, ultimately shortening lifespans.

“We must rejuvenate our intellect and start reasoning properly,” Githae stated. He advocates for a return to natural living, where the purity of air, water, and soil is prioritized. “The amount of air we get, the sunshine we receive, and the quality of our water are crucial to our health.”

The campaign urges communities to reconsider the chemicals used in food production, from cereals and root crops to fruits and livestock feed. Githae warns that these substances compromise immune systems, making individuals more vulnerable to diseases, including COVID-19 and other infectious illnesses.

Githae’s vision extends beyond individual health; he calls for collective action across tribes, countries, and continents to restore the global ecosystem that has been damaged by pollution and overconsumption. “The purity of our rivers, lakes, and oceans directly affects our health and longevity,” he said.

The initiative aims to unite people from all walks of life, regardless of gender, age, or economic status, under a common goal: to reclaim indigenous wisdom and promote sustainable agricultural practices free from chemicals. Githae plans to pilot this movement in the Mount Kenya region, where he hopes to demonstrate the benefits of natural farming methods and clean eating.

“Let’s come together to grow crops that thrive without chemicals, using the resources we have—water, air, and sunshine,” he urged. “By focusing on natural solutions in agriculture and education, we can foster a healthier community.”

Githae invites fellow Kenyans, especially those in the Mount Kenya region, to join this crucial movement. “Together, we can set an example for East Africa, Africa, and eventually the world. We share one common ecosystem, and it’s time we take action,” he concluded.

As the campaign gains momentum, Githae encourages contributions from individuals and organizations alike, emphasizing that collective effort is vital in addressing the health crises facing humanity.
