Wangûkû Donates High-Quality Sunflower Seeds To Farmers 

In a move set to transform the agricultural landscape of Nyeri County,  Thuo Mathenge Wangûkû, the leader of the TND Party and a prominent business mogul, has pledged to support local farmers by donating high-quality sunflower seeds. This initiative aims to enhance the livelihoods of farmers and stimulate the local economy.

As promised, Wangûkû is committed to bringing change by providing these sunflower seeds at no cost to farmers in Nyeri.

In a further effort to ensure success, he has hired an expert agronomist who will offer guidance and support in the cultivation of these seeds, also at zero cost to the farmers.

Once the sunflowers are harvested, Wangûkû has committed to purchasing them at Ksh 60 per kilogram.

This price is expected to provide farmers with a stable income and enhance sunflower farming as a viable agricultural venture.

Wangûkû’s vision reflects his optimism that sunflower farming can significantly boost the economy of Nyeri County.

“Agriculture is the backbone of our community, and I believe that by investing in our farmers, we are investing in the future of Nyeri,” he stated.

Local farmers are already expressing excitement over the initiative, viewing it as a major step towards progress.
